Game 1 Fairborn vs Northmont

Jabari Perkins scored 24 points to lead the Northmont Thunderbolt to a 69-47 victory over the Fairborn Skyhawks in the first round of the Division 1 tournament at Butler High School on Friday night.
The T-Bolts jumped out to 6-2 lead but the Skyhaks battled back to tie it at 6.
Northmont then went on an 13-4 run and closed out the first quarter leading 19-10.
In the second quarter it was a series of three pointers.
T-Bolts dropped in three and Fairborn stayed close Shaun Monroe had two of the four three pointers in the quarter.
In the second half it was all Northmont. Perkins scored 9 of his 24 points in third quarter.
Joe Nickel led the Skyhawks with 15 followed by Monroe’s 11.
The Thunderbolts improve to 11-12 and will face the Centerville Elks on Tuesday at 6:00 pm at Butler High School.
Fairborn closes out the season at 9-14.

Game 2 Stebbin vs Wayne

Wayne had four players in double figures and ended the Stebbins Indians season with a 76-59 win. Wayne will move on to face the Tecumseh Arrows on Tuesday at 7:00 pm at Butler High School.
Dashon Parker led the #1 seeded Warriors with 16 points. L’Christian “Blue” Smith added 14 while Ronnie Hampton had 13 and Darius Quisenberry chipped in with 10.
Wayne led 17-15 with 6 minutes remaining in the first half. Then went on an 9-0 run making it 24-15 and didn’t look back after that.
Stebbins was led by Ty Rutledge with 18 points, Jonathan Mpanzu chipped in 12 and Jalen Tolbert finished with 10.
The Warriors improves to 21-1 and will play the Tecumseh Arrows on Tuesday at 7 pm at Butler High School. Stebbins finishes at 9-14.
