Lady Marauders win eighth straight with 94-52 victory over Salem
SALEM, West Virginia – The Central State Lady Marauders extended their winning streak to eight games with a lopsided 94-52 victory over Salem University on Sunday.
With the win, the Lady Marauders improve to 9-2 overall. Salem falls to 3-7 ledger on the year.
CSU opened the game on a 16-3 run and never looked back. CSU forced SU into 29 giveaways resulting in a 42-3 edge in points scored off of turnovers. CSU also outrebounded SU, 48-32 and outscored their opponenet, 18-5, in second chance points.

The 42-point win is the largest victory margin for CSU this season.
CSU resumes SIAC play this Saturday on the road at Clark Atlanta University.

The Lady Marauders are undefeated on the road (4-0).
Sunday’s game was part of the Joe Manchin Classic. Salem University served as the host site.
CSU tied a season-high with 34 field goals made against Salem.
