High School Football moves on into week two, and our second of three games streams live tonight as the Beavercreek Beavers host the Carroll Patriots at Frank Zink Field!
The Beavers, led by coach Scott Clodfelter, are looking to rebound following a 50-7 loss at the hands of the Xenia Buccaneers. In that match, the Beavers gained 293 yards, with 258 of them coming on the ground. Tim Bradshaw led the rushing attack for the Beavers with 127 yards on 26 carries.
Carroll, under head coach Ben Rulli, started the season in impressive fashion, defeating the Meadowdale Lions 35-0. All of Carroll’s 273 offensive yards came on the ground, with Marcus LaJeunesse leading the way with 171 yards on 20 attempts, including 2 touchdowns. The Patriots are also looking to avenge last year’s 41-0 loss to the Beavers at Patriot Stadium.
