Carroll is looking for their first win in GCL play tonight. With Marcus LaJeunesse unavaliable last week due to injury, Patrick Shiner took the reigns of the Carroll running attack, carrying the ball 20 times for 76 yards and one touchdown in last week’s 27-17 loss to McNicholas. Joel Teleha was behind him with 14 carries for 33 yards. Carroll’s defense, however, will have to tighten up. In their 3 losses, the Patriots have allowed an average of 379 yards per game.

The Badin Rams will certainly not make Carroll’s task easy. The Rams are looking to get back in the win column after losing last week to Fenwick by a score of 42-7. Badin has averaged 320 overall yards in their four wins this season. Favoring the running game, Badin averages 172 rushing yards per game. Cody Boxrucker leads the ground attack for the Rams this season, running for 322 yards on 64 carries this season for 2 touchdowns. Cole Heflin is not far behind him, with 259 yards and 4 touchdowns on 28 carries to his credit. Phillip Dozier is Badin’s primary receiving target, with 240 yards from 10 catches this season from Badin quarterback Zach Larkin.
