SPRINGFIELD, Ohio – The OCCAC has announced this week’s basketball players of the week selections.
Isaiah Trice (6-2/FR – Wayne HS, Huber Heights, OH) picks up his first career conference accolade, joining teammatesQuantes Jackson and LiDonta Hicks-Gentry as Tartan Pride representatives this season. He dropped in 25.0 points per game and narrowly missed out on averaging a double-double with 9.5 rebounds/game. Trice opened the week by stuffing the stat sheet with 28 points (tying his career high), 12 rebounds, eight assists and three steals as Sinclair topped Thomas More College (JV) by 19 points. He then came back to produce 22 points and seven rebounds vs. Lakeland later in the week.

Lady Blue Knights Fall In Shootout
URBANA, Ohio — Urbana women’s basketball fell Saturday afternoon to visiting West Virginia State in a shootout, 109-99, inside the Grimes Center. Five players from each squad scored double figures as WVSU’s Auureshae Hines led all scorers with 28 points, six assists and five rebounds. UU’s Megan Beachy poured in 23 points to pace the Blue Knights in scoring.
