DePauw (12-4, 11-2 NCAC) took control by scoring three first half goals. The Tigers would stretch their lead to five with two goals in the first ten minutes of the second half.
Junior Megan Hut used a pass from freshman Maite Turlings to score Earlham’s lone goal in the 64th minute. DePauw added the final goal 90 seconds later.
Earlham fired three shots in both the first and the second half for a total of six shots. DePauw had 15 and nine on net. The Quakers did earn seven penalty corners compared to five for the Tigers.
Senior goalkeeper Kate Korobkina made three saves in the loss.
Earlham sits at 4-12 on the season and 3-10 in NCAC play. The Quakers finish their 2015 season with Saturday game against Wittenberg. The game is slated to begin at 11 a.m.
