Dayton, Ohio – The Sinclair Volleyball team earned its second home of the 2015-16 season last night with a 3-0 victory over visiting Clark State.
The Tartan Pride took over the first match right from the start with Meg Reineke throwing down three kills to take the game for the win. Clark State struggled to keep up with the aggressive attacks at the net and gave the Tartan Pride some easy points to score off of. Sinclair won the first set 25-12
Clark State was able to get some confidence back while keeping within distance of the Tartan Pride in the second set. Sinclair couldn’t break the lead any more than four points until Alexandra Petri gave the Eagles an attack they couldn’t bring back. Sinclair went on to win the set 25-20.
Both teams played even throughout the third set until Meg Reineke had three kills to put Sinclair up 23-17. From that point, the Tartan Pride took control and finished strong to win their second home match of the season.
