Dayton, OH – The Sinclair (14-8/7-3) Volleyball cruised to a 3-0 victory tonight over visiting Clark State (4-9/1-6). The OCCAC match only took 70 minutes as remains in second place in the conference.
The Eagles of Clark State did come ready to play as they jumped out to a 6-1 early lead in the first set. Once Sinclair tied it at 15 all, the Tartan Pride pulled away to a 25-21 finish.
The second set was a back and forth through most of the set. Sinclair was able to win a couple of key points to down the stretch and pull away again late for the win.
The final set was catch-up for the Eagles as they would get just close enough to make it interesting. In the end, Sinclair had too much fire power and found ways to win pivotal points in each set.
